This is the staple porridge mixture we make at home and our kids love it! Especially with double cream, maple syrup and Honey Seeds thrown on top! Its a cracking way to start the day -winter, spring, summer or autumn!
1/2 cup large rolled oats
1/2 cup normal rolled oats (creates a more interesting texture)
1 cup of water
1 cup of milk
Pinch of salt (optional)
Maple syrup or drippy honey
Munchy Seeds – Honey Seeds or Super Sprinkles
Pop the porridge oats, milk, water, salt (optional) into a sauce pan and cook gently over a low heat, stirring occasionally for 10 to 15mins.
When cooked to your liking, serve with cream, maple syrup or runny honey and then sprinkle with lashings of honey- coated Honey Munchy Seeds or our NEW lightly roasted seed & dried fruits mix; Super Sprinkles.
