Spooky Halloween Breakfast

For a bit of Halloween fun try this spooky-licious breakfast of golden granola packed with the goodness of our Warm Cinnamon and Cacao and Apricot seeds served with a side of toast, created for us by the amazing Janani of Everyday Eats With Tara on Instagram.

Ingredients for the granola:

Method:

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat oven to 120C.

Mix all the ingredients except the sprinkles and spread on the tray. Bake for 10 minutes, take out of the oven and give it a good mix. Bake again for 8 minutes. Let it cool completely and add sprinkles. Store in an air tight jar.

For the Chilli Seeds Dip:

Ingredients:

  • 50g Mild Chilli seeds
  • 50g cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric.
  • (Optional) Sliced olive and edible eyes for decoration

Method:

Crush the seeds, cream cheese and turmeric using a mortal and pestle. This gives the dip a crunchy texture.

Slather the spread on toast, add olive and edible eyes and enjoy
