Our favourite picnic spots for National Picnic Week 2018

National Picnic Week takes place from 15th – 24th June and is a great excuse to spend a summers afternoon with family or friends, playing games and tucking into a delicious picnic. To help you celebrate a great British tradition, we’ve come up with our top 5 picnic spots.

By the beach
Summer may be the season of barbecues for some people, but for many of us, the warmer weather means one thing, it’s time to go to the beach.
Walberswick has a lovely little sand dune backed beach and is easy walking distance to the seaside town Southwold.
In the woods
Get the kids outdoors for a picnic in the woods or go for bike ride around the woodland paths.

By the river
For more of a relaxed picnic with friends or family, the river is the perfect location.
